Grinding – removes deep scratches and prevents slippage due to uneven tile edges. This process is carried out by machine with diamond abrasive pads and water that will not generate dust.
Honing – eliminates minor scratches and wear and tear caused by everyday foot traffic. It is also done by machine with diamond abrasive pads and water that will not generate dust.
Polishing – gives the perfect sheen to marble or stone. It enhances the veining in marble and protects it from wear and tear and from spills. The same compounds in the fabricating process are used.
Cleaning – picks up dirt, stains and bacteria effectively and also removes embedded waxes and polymers.
Sealing – protects and preserves natural stone, thanks to penetrating sealers and impregnators.
Color Enhancing – enhances the stone’s color and finishing, thanks to penetrating sealers / impregnators.
Stripping – gets rid of coatings that block the stone’s ability to breathe. When stone can’t breathe, spalling occurs (cracks, pop and shale). Some examples of common coatings are crystallization, janitorial waxes, polyurethane, etc.
Grout Cleaning and Sealing – cleans and seals all grouts so that dirt and harmful contaminants do not get lodged. We use a patented system to clean your grout so that it looks brand new and then seal it to facilitate long term maintenance.

Our 5-Step System will ensure the long life of your beautiful stone
Step #1 – Consultation / Evaluation
First, we inspect your stone and perform tests to determine type. We look for wear patterns and damage. Next, we treat a sample area for a nominal charge. This allows more precision in the diagnosis of the problem and gives you a snapshot of a restored stone. We let you know if sealing is required.
Step #2 – Restoration
With trained stone technicians, state-of the-art equipment and excellent quality materials, we restore your stone’s surface to its original beauty. All work will be completed in a professional and timely manner.
Step #3 – Impregnation/Protection
The appearance and durability of stones can be affected by coffee and soda stains, excessive foot traffic, oils, and other factors. An impregnator provides the required protection. It is an integral part of an ongoing, proactive stone care program and we use only the best quality impregnators available in the market. Impregnators facilitate a cost effective maintenance program for all natural stone, thanks to the long term protection they provide against stains and dirt penetration.
Step #4 – Daily Maintenance Training
Most people use what they consider to be “safe” techniques and chemicals when caring for their stone. But what is safe tile or ceramic can damage natural stone. After we restore your stone surface to its original beauty, we train you or your cleaning people on how to routinely maintain its appearance and recommend a cleaner for your use.
Step #5 – Periodic Follow-Up Restoration
Stone needs to be cared for regularly to maintain its beautiful appearance. Proper daily care will ensure its beautiful appearance and offer protection against daily foot-traffic and other factors.
A periodic maintenance program may cost more, but it is worth the investment. In the long term, it will cost less than a complete and major restoration. Ask about our periodic restoration schedule. The frequency will depend on the specific needs of your stone and desired appearance.
